Lawn mowers are just there, in the shed or garage. My father knew so little about his, that instead of changing the spark plugs, he would just go out an buy a new mower. It may be a lot less bovver wiv a hover, but I recall the chewed grass look as being unattractive, when compared with the stripes my grandfather got with his push along Ransome.
