Last three days, have been working in the garden with my husband. We have a long long to do list. So far we have
painted and erected an arch
removed overgrown mint, lemon balm and parsley
weed-burned the terrace
staked three fennels
disassembled a gas barbecue
taken scrap to the scrap merchants
planted oregano and rosemary
pruned fig tree, taken cuttings
taken mint and sage cuttings
chucked slug pellets over everything
chucked Growmore over lots of stuff
pruned neighbour's overhanging ceanothus
dug up rhubarb, put in big pots for our mothers
removed redundant wiring from back of house
moved garden furniture about
and basically knackered ourselves
