French tin signs

Been hard at work painting in the garden today. Had a veritable production line going. Husband removing trellis and brushing it down, me painting trellis while he repaired and painted walls and fixed up more repro vintage French signs. There's room for more though......

The grey-green of Farrow and Ball Estate Emulsion does remind me of Lichen and I did think that perhaps it was too English for a pseudo Mediterranean garden. But then I realised, that out in the open air, the Lichen is the silver-grey-green of olive leaves.
