Mussels with samphire for a light dinner

Looks authentic, but the mussels are Scottish freshwater mussels from Lidl and the marsh samphire is £1.47 a pack at ASDA ! I have experimented with buying fresh mussels in bags and <look away if eating> was rather ill.
