Arum lilies

I found, by sheer ignorance, that I can get away with leaving Arum lily bulbs in situ and not lifting them. They do get a bit ragged, so I probably should use a fleece. A man in a road nearby has a big half-barrel by his front door, filled with them, facing West and doesn't lift his either.
