View from my study

The bench came from Freemans in a sale years ago. My husband repainted it using Plasti-kote copper aerosol paint on the iron and painted the wooden slats in Farrow and Ball oil eggshell 'Print Room Yellow'. The tree is a Brown Turkey fig facing due South, the large pot on the left contains a hibiscus bought from Lidl and at the other end of the bench is a canna, also from Lidl. Sheltering under the fig is a Kentia palm and in the bottom right corner of the photo is the bay tree, bought in the late 90s at Bodiam boot fair in E Sussex for £4.50 as a knee high sapling.
